Fast Growing Church & The World Traveling Pastor

When stateside, the pastor was already an avid user of technology. Now, he needed a way to stay in touch through remote access technology while leading active missions in foreign, remote locations.

IVT implemented a mobile email solution which gave the pastor "on the fly" access to his Microsoft Outlook desktop email, calendar and contacts.

IVT also upgraded the church's network which allows the pastor and his executive assistant to have complete, secure VPN remote access to the church's network and their office desktops as if they were in the Virginia office from half a world away. In addition, any changes made on their handheld devices are synchronized with their desktops, allowing each to view and edit important appointments and messages.

The result: It is exciting for church members to hear from their pastor who is half-a-world away doing the church's work. This was impossible not too long ago.
